As a native speaker, I have a pretty good ear for proper English. But as someone who hasn’t studied the language formally, I may not always know exactly why an expression or word is incorrect.
A very good book on the subject is Otto Jespersen’s book “Essentials of English Grammar.”
It is really nice to know that.
It will be fine if people from USA don’t feel the sentences weird.
I may want to learn more from people instead of book.
I have read too many Grammar books in my life.
Love it that you are launching into an English blog! My son lives in Shanghai and we’ve been to visit many times– and I KNOW i could never write a blog in Chinese! So good for you– I’m sure you’ll improve as you go on…
